What’s In My Travel Makeup Bag? – Tenerife

As you may know, I recently got back from Tenerife and I thought it would be quite nice to share with you what was in my travel makeup bag. I really enjoy reading this type of post as I find them really helpful for discovering new products and for travelling too. I also enjoy writing them so I thought it would be worth doing. I thought it would be a good idea to go through each product, tell you about it, why it’s in there etc. just so you know whether you’ll like them or not. I also tried to take a small amount of products as I was taking hand luggage only. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this and let me know if you’ve tried any of these makeup products.

The Makeup Bag – I’m taking my Ted Baker Katient Small Bow Makeup Bag which fits everything minus the eyeshadow palette and the cream contour kit. It’s the pale pink one with the grey bow which is such good quality and definitely worth the price.

The Summer Bronzer – So, the first thing is the L’Oréal Glam Bronze Bronzing Powder in ‘Caribbean Sun.’ This is my favourite bronzer for bronzing the face and obviously on holiday I want to look as bronze as possible. It has a very, very slight shimmer to it which is lovely for Summer and it’s also the perfect shade for my skin.

The Stunning Highlighter – Next I have one of my all time favourite products, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in ‘Moonstone.’ You’ve probably heard everyone talking about these highlighters and it’s for a good reason (see my full review here). It is the most finely milled highlighter ever and this shade is perfect. It’s great for adding a natural glow to the skin which is what I want on holiday and in Summer.

The Waterproof Liquid Liner – I don’t wear liquid liner a lot but I need to take it in case I want to put some on. My favourites are from L’Oréal as they are easy to apply and don’t smudge or transfer and the one I’m taking is the L’Oréal Super Liner Black Lacquer Waterproof as it is waterproof perfect for humidity and hot weather.

The Lightweight Concealer – I love lightweight and natural concealers and my favourite is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in ‘Ivory.’ It gives a medium coverage and a radiant finish which I personally love and is great in warmer weather.

The Perfect Powder – As I have oily skin and the weather is hotter which will make it even more oily, powder is 100% necessary. My all time favourite is the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Transparent’ which sets my makeup into place all day and it is just as great as any high end powder.

The Best Brow Kit – The brow product which I use all the time and have done for a year is the L’Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit in ‘Light/Medium’ which has a powder and a wax. I can do natural brows for when I have no other makeup on and I can do full brows for when I’m wearing a full face. I couldn’t go a day without this.

The Contour Shade – For contour I actually use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. It is the perfect shade for my paler skin (however, I am excited for the lighter version in May!, it’s matte and it’s so natural… I just love it! (read my full review here) It has khaki undertones but it’s also great for bronzing up the face too.

The Smudge Proof Mascara – My favourite mascara ever is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in ‘Black’. It is volumising, lengthening and even though it’s not waterproof it’s completely smudge proof. If you are looking for a waterproof mascara, the waterproof version of this is so waterproof you won’t be able to get it off.

The Matte Foundation – I’m currently trying out the Bourjois Air Mat Foundation in ‘Rose Ivory’ which I will do a full review on soon. It is a matte foundation and it keeps my oily skin shine free for a number of hours.  It’s important in hot weather for me to wear a matte foundation or it wouldn’t be on my face after half an hour.

The Perfect Palette – The Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette is my go to eyeshadow palette as it has some stunning pink shades, an array of brown shades, a matte white and also a black. The quality of these is very good, the packaging is very sturdy so it’s perfect for travelling and there is also a good mirror which is great.

The Matte Eye Primer – I think eyeshadow primer is such a necessary step as it keeps my eyeshadow on for so much longer without fading, smudging or creasing. My favourite is the Urban Decay Eden Eyeshadow Primer Potion as it’s completely matte so works with ever look.

The Contour Kit – I don’t often use my Sleek Cream Contour Kit in ‘Medium’ as it’s too dark for me usually and I find contouring with powder easier. However I thought it would be perfect now as it has darker shades and I’m going to be fake tanning, I can use it to darken my foundation and it also has a large mirror which I’ll use for doing my makeup.

The Nude Lip – My current favourite nude lipstick is MAC Satin Lipstick in ‘Viva Glam II’ as it is a medium nude shade with a bit of pink in it. It has a satin finish so it’s comfortable on the lips yet it is very opaque and long lasting.

The Liquid Lipstick – I wanted to take a liquid lipstick and a true nude shade with no undertone so I’m taking my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Abu Dhabi.’ It is a medium nude with no undertones and it is so comfortable on the lips you can barely feel it.

The Bright Lip – As I already had two nudes I thought I would take a bright lip as they look great with a tan. I decided on the Stila Color Balm Lipstick in ‘Avery’ as it’s a stunning coral pink shade and it has the nicest lip balm like formula yet is so opaque and long lasting.

The Versatile Lip Liner – As I’m taking three quite different lip options I wanted to take a lip liner that works well with all of them. I chose the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner as its a ‘your lips but better’ shade and it seems to work with anything.

My Everyday Makeup – April 2017

I’m going to be sharing with you what my everyday makeup routine is and what products I’m loving at the moment. I did my last everyday makeup routine back in December so I thought it would be about time that I did another. I really enjoy writing this type of posts and you seem to enjoy them but let me know if you do so I know if I should do another one in the future. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this and let me know what you’re current favorite makeup products are.

The first thing I do is apply my foundation. I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in ‘Light Porcelain’ which you have all heard me talk about a million times before. It gives a natural radiant finish while offering a light/medium buildable coverage. To buff this into my skin I’ve been using the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush which I find distributes the product evenly giving the most natural coverage which is what I want for day to day wear. The concealer I use is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in ‘Ivory’ which I don’t feel like anyone really talks about anymore, but it’s a great concealer for under the eyes as it is really lightweight and overs a light/medium coverage. Next I prime my eyes using the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in ‘Eden’ which I think is a really important step as it ensures that your eyeshadow will last all day without creasing or smudging. I set my eyelids and under eye area using the lighter powder from the Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit in ‘Medium.’ Then I set the rest of my face using my favorite powder ever, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Peach Glow.’ It is only £4 and it works so well. I apply this using my Real Techniques Powder Brush.

Next I fill in my eyebrows using the L’Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit in ‘Light/Medium.’ I love the brow products from L’Oréal as they are cool toned and ashy. If you want to see my full opinions on this product, check out my review. I use the wax to define and shape my brows before filling them in with the powder. I then use my Benefit Hoola Bronzer to contour and bronze my face. If you want to know more information about this product, check out my review. It’s the perfect shade for both bronzing and contouring as it’s not too cool and ashy but it’s not to warm and red either. I use the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush to contour my jawline, cheekbones and nose. I then use the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush to bronze my forehead and neck. Then for one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine, I use the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in ‘Moonstone’ to highlight my face. I apply it to the tops of my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, my cupids bow, on my brow bone and in my inner corners. It is the most beautiful colour and it’s so finely milled – deffinetly worth the money! If you want to know more about it, check out my review.

My eyeshadow is slightly different everyday but I thought I’d share with you two of my current favorite looks. So, look number one. I blend some of my Benefit Hoola Bronzer which is my contour/bronzer shade into the crease. I then take my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and put the shade ‘Trick’ all over the eyelid. For the second look, I take the same palette and put the shade ‘Limit’ in the crease as a transition shade and then also blend the shade ‘Nooner’ into the crease too to deepen it a bit. I also take the same shade under my eye. I add a little bit of the shade ‘Dust’ on the eye to add some shimmer. I use my all time favorite mascara, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in ‘Black.’ To see my thoughts on this and why I love it so much, check out my review.

I use a different lip product almost every single day depending on what look I’m going for and what eyeshadow I’ve used etc. so I’m just going to share my two current favorites. But before I do, I want to mention that the lip liner I always use is the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner. It’s the perfect shade for any nude/pale pink lipstick. I’ve rekindled my love for my first ever MAC lipstick. It is the MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in ‘Crème Cup.’ It is a pale blue toned pink which for me, is really easy to wear and is the perfect spring colour – it goes perfectly with the second eyeshadow look I mentioned. To see my full opinions check out my MAC lipstick collection where I talk about this. The second lipstick I’ve been loving is my most recently purchased MAC lipstick which is the MAC Satin Lipstick in ‘Viva Glam II.’ It’s a gorgeous nude colour which isn’t too brown and isn’t too pink – it’s just perfect. This lipstick isn’t included in my MAC lipstick collection as I wrote it before I got this lipstick. I’ll do another one soon but I’ll definitely be buying a few more tomorrow in duty free. I also sometimes add some lipgloss over my lipsticks and if I do it’s the NYX Butter Gloss in ‘Fortune Cookie.’ These lip glosses are so affordable but have an amazing non-sticky formula.

5 Under £10

I recently realised that my post 5 Under £5 was quite popular and you all seemed to really enjoy it. I thought it would be a good idea to do something else similar so I thought I’d share with you 5 of my favorite beauty products under £10. I actually have ten products to share so I’ll be doing a part 2 soon so make sure you’re following so you don’t miss that. Also if you want to see my post, 5 under £5, click here. Let me know what your favorite products under £10 are as I always love trying out new drugstore makeup. I hope you enjoy this!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, £8.99 – I firstly want to say that this is my favorite foundation I have ever tried. It is an anti-fatigue foundation with skin brightening effects and it contains vitamin e. I totally agree with that, it just makes your skin look so bright, healthy and reawakened. It also contains an SPF of 15 which isn’t enough for everyday wear – I use a moisturiser with a higher SPF underneath. I’d say that it has a medium coverage and it gives a natural illuminated finish. I have combination skin (oily/normal and dehydrated) and this works perfectly for me. It would also be amazing for normal skin and dry skin. It wouldn’t be great for very dry skin however as it isn’t very hydrating and it wouldn’t be great for very oily skin either as it is an illuminating foundation. I believe there are seven shades and I use ‘Light Porcelain’ which is the lightest shade which isn’t great as my skin is light beige (pale, but not that pale) but ideally there should be two or three foundations lighter than mine as there are so may people with lighter skin than me. And there should also be a few darker foundations as the darkest one isn’t that dark. That is the only downside to this foundation though and everything else about it is amazing and I’d definitely recommend it to almost anyone.

L’Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit, £9.99 – This is my everyday go to brow product and it has been for the past eight months or so. It is a brow kit including a wax, a powder, a tiny pair of (awful) tweezers and a tiny double ended brush with an angled brow brush on one end and a spoolie on the other. The packaging is small, sleek and travel friendly and also contains a small mirror which is amazing when you’re doing your brows on the go. A huge reason why I love this so much is the fact that the two shades, ‘light/medium’ and ‘medium/dark,’ are both cool toned and ashy which is very rare to find in the drugstore. So this does mean if you have warmer tones in your hair and brows this won’t be for you but for people like me with cooler tones it is amazing. I use the shade ‘light/medium’ which is perfect for me – I have medium/dark ashy blonde hair. You can use this brow product in any way you’d like and you could easily do a natural brow but you could also easily do a bolder brow too. I personally use the wax first to define the arch and then I fill in my brows with the powder. If you are looking for a brow product with neutral/cool tones I would highly recommend trying this out.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Intense Black, £7.99 – Like the previous two products this is a genuine favorite of mine. I do love high end makeup but I guess I just really love drugstore makeup a lot too. This is one of the best mascaras I have ever tried and I think the main reason for this is the mascara wand. It is so unique and I have never found any other mascara wand like this. It just volumises and lengthens my lashes so perfectly. People often complement my lashes and ask my what mascara I use when I have this on and people have actually thought I was wearing (very natural) falsies too. There are different variations of this mascara and my personal favorite is the intense black one – I just love a really black mascara. I would highly recommend this mascara to anyone. Everyone just needs to try it out!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, £5.50 – These are some of the best matte liquid lipsticks that you can find in the drugstore and I think they are as good as, if not better than a lot of high end options. These have quite a thick looking consistency but feel so light on the lips. All of the shades I’ve tried (please note I’ve only tried lighter shades) have applied so evenly and are not patchy at all; they only need one coat as they are pigmented. They take a minute to dry completely matte and when they do they are not drying in the slightest, they’re actually really comfortable to wear. They wear on the lips so well – they don’t flake off, they don’t rub off, they don’t go patchy. I could wear these for about eight hours and not have to worry about them wearing off at all. My personal favorite shades are ‘Tokyo’ which is a bubble gum pink and ‘Abu Dhabi’ which is a classic warm nude similar to ‘Velvet Teddy’ by MAC but less pink.

Maybelline Baby Lips, £2.99 – I’ve tried a few different lip balms from proper makeup brands and these are the only ones that I actually really like. They have such a nice consistency and feel really moisturising and hydrating on the lips. They have so many different colours available (and colourless ones too), many of which I have tried, and I much prefer the lighter colours to the darker ones. The reason for this is that the darker ones are very pigmented, overly pigmented for me, but if you like that you’ll love these – I just prefer a matte dark lip. My favorite one is the shade ‘Mint Candy’ which is a pale pink which looks completely colourless on me when I have no makeup on but when I do have makeup on (and a lot of bronzer!) it looks very true to colour on me. I’d highly recommend picking up a couple of these to try as they are under the £5 mark or just pick one up the next time you need a new lip balm.

2016 Beauty Favorites – Makeup

Today I’m doing a really exciting blog post, I’m going to be doing the first part of my 2016 beauty favorites. I’ve put together a list of my favorite beauty products from the whole year and put them into categories of makeup, skincare, body care, hair care, nail care and fragrance. Today I’m going to be talking about the makeup side of things as it would be so long if I were to talk about everything in one. You have probably heard me talking about a lot of these products before and some of them even in last years favorites but I’ll be talking about each of them in a little bit more depth and explaining why they are my favorite products. I really hope you enjoy this and also let me know what some of your favorite products from this past year have been.

  • Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in ‘Light Porcelain,’ £8.99 – This has been my go to everyday foundation for almost a year now. It has a light to medium coverage which I think is the perfect amount for day to day wear and has a satin and radiant finish which looks quite natural. The colour is the perfect shade for me and I believe it comes in six other shades. I have combination/oily skin and this foundation works really well for me but I think it would work well for most skin types, expect maybe really dry skin types as it isn’t the most hydrating. The fact that it is under £10 is amazing and the quality for the price is great. I also love how the packaging is glass and I also love the shape too.

  • Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in ‘Ivory,’ £5.49 – I have been using this concealer for a couple of years now and at first I wasn’t amazed by the product but over the past six months or so I have fallen in love the product (I did mention it in last years favorites but I’m not sure why as I didn’t love it then). It is fairly light in consistency and even though it is branded as a high coverage I don’t think it is, I think it is more of a medium coverage which I personally like. Just like the foundation it is radiant and natural so I use it under my eyes and I also love the fact that it isn’t too heavy. I think there are only four shades available which isn’t great but nevertheless I really like it a lot.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Peach Glow,’ £3.99 – I have used this powder for years, ever since I started wearing makeup and I love it. I have never found anything which compares to it, it is seriously amazing (even Kim Kardashian uses it). It has a matte finish hence the name and it keeps my oily skin fairly matte for a few hours. I mentioned this in last years favorites in the shade ‘Transparent’ which used to be the only shade I used but this year I started using the shade ‘Peach Glow’ when my usual shade was out of stock and I actually much prefer my powder having a little bit of colour. It comes in six shades including transparent which actually covers most skin tones.
  • L’Oréal Glam Bronze Bronzing Powder in ‘Caribbean Sun,’ £10.29 – I bought this earlier in the year as I was in need of a new bronzer and I just really love it a lot. It has a little bit of shimmer through it which makes it look really pretty in the Summer particularly. I think there are nine shades in this range which is amazing especially considering the fact that it’s a drugstore brand. I use the third shade which is perfect for my neutral pale beige skin tone. I think the packaging looks nice but I’ve found that it’s actually quite flimsy (or maybe it’s just me being really clumsy) which is disappointing as L’Oréal usually have great packaging. Anyway, I do love this bronzer and think that it’s a good option to go for if you’re looking for a new bronzer.
  • L’Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit in ‘Light/Medium,’ £9.99 – I had wanted this for ages and then decided to pick it up while I was in France as it worked out a bit cheaper. I am so glad I got this product as it is honestly the best brow product I’ve ever used. It has a wax which I use to define the arch of my brows and it also has a powder which I use to fill them in. There are two shades and I used the lighter of the two which is an amazing match to my medium ashy blonde hair. The fact that both of the shades are cool toned is amazing as it’s rare to find cool toned brow products in the drugstore. I also love the neat and thin packaging of this and it’s also great that it has a little mirror.

  • Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion, £16 – I never really understood the need in an eye primer but when I purchased the Naked 3 palette I got free samples. Ever since I’ve started using an eye primer I’ve never looked back and this is the one that stood out the most to me. It provides smoother application of eyeshadow, makes the eyeshadows pigmentation and bendability better and makes them last so much longer as well as preventing creasing. I find that when I use this my eyeshadow just looks so much better and if I didn’t have this on hand I’d rather just not do my eyeshadow. I love the packaging of this too and think that it is really worth the price.
  • Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, £38.50 – I got this palette in France (which was actually a stupid idea as it cost me a lot more) about eight months ago and I have loved it since the second I got it. It has 12 shades which are all really pigmented and 3 of which are matte. The colours range from pinks to cool toned browns and I think the palette really suits me but wouldn’t suit quite a lot of people (the other Naked palettes however would). The packaging is just amazing as it’s rose gold and is really sturdy so I don’t have to worry about it being damaged when I travel and it also has a big mirror. I would 100% recommend this palette but not only this, the other Naked palettes too.
  • L’Oréal Super Liner Black Lacquer Waterproof, £6.49 – I have always loved L’Oréal eyeliners from their Super Liner range but I only discovered this one at the beginning of this year and I have to say it’s the best liquid eyeliner I have ever found. I find it makes doing eyeliner so much easier which is really good and the colour of this is so black which is great as sometimes black liquid eyeliners can dry quite grey. The fact that it’s waterproof is a huge bonus and it lasts all day without moving, smudging or transferring at all. I will continue to repurchase this eyeliner forever as it is honestly just the best.
  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Intense Black Mascara in ‘Extra Black,’ £7.99 – I have loved the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascaras since they first came out and I think they are the best mascaras out there. I have tried all of their formulations now and the intense black one is definitely my favorite as I love super black lashes. I think it is the wand that makes this mascara so good – it’s like no other I’ve found before. It is a plastic wand which I know not everyone likes but I would urge you to try this mascara if you’ve not already especially considering it’s such a good price. It’s my favorite mascara of all time.

  • MAC Satin Lipstick in ‘Faux,’ £15.50 – I have so many lipsticks and I use them all so often but this has definitely been my most worn and most loved overall. I bought it on the way to Majorca (which saves a few pounds) about six months ago and at the time I didn’t get a lot of use out of it as it isn’t a very Summery colour but in the more recent months, I have lived in this. It is a medium pink/mauve nude colour which is a really feminine and grown up shade and I would kind of describe it as an Autumnal nude. It has a satin finish so it is very pigmented and long lasting but not drying at all and feels really comfortable on the lips.
  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Abu Dhabi,’ £5.50 – I’ve always wanted to try one of these so when NYX came to the UK in the Summer I got a couple of these. I am so impressed with them, especially this shade. They are obviously matte liquid lipsticks but they feel so comfortable on the lips and are not drying in the slightest. They last all day and do not move off the lips even if you have eaten. This colour is a medium nude shade with a hint of brown in it which I really like a lot and I think it is such a universal shade which would suit anyone. Try these out if you haven’t already, you honestly won’t be disappointed.

Youtube Made Me By It! – Part 2

Today I’m going to be doing the second part to youtube made me buy it. If you’ve never seen one of these before, which I’m sure you hvae, it’s basically just sharing products that you bought because of youtube and giving your opinion (if it’s worth the hype etc).If you want to see the first part I’ll link it HERE. Make sure to let me know what youtube made you buy.

A couple of years back Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, £4.19 was hyped over so much on youtube because of it’s low price tag. I was quick to try this out as it wouldn’t matter if it wasn’t very good because of the price. I got the shade ‘Fair’ which is the lightest of the four shades. It is really high coverage which lasts and doesn’t crease. I personally use this for covering any blemishes or redness and use something lighter (in consistency) under my eyes as that’s my perferance. I love this concealer so much and if I had to only keep one concealer, it would be this. I do however think that the shade range should be expanded so a wider variety of skin tones can use this. I also find that the writing rubs of which isn’t a massive issue as it’s only £4. I have heard from friends with dry skin that it can crease slightly under the eyes but elsewhere on the face it should be fine and for normal/oily skin it works perfectly. I would highly recommend that you try this if you haven’t already, I deffinetly think you’ll love it.

MAC lipsticks are some of the most spoken about lipsticks ever and there are so many shades to chose from. I think it was Anna Saccone who loved MAC Matte Lipstick in ‘Honeylove,’ £15.50 and influenced me to buy it. It looked so lovley on her and I just had to have it too. It is a matte formula which is opaque and long lasting but isn’t too drying at all considering it is matte. The colour is basically just a lighter version of ‘Velvet Teddy,’ an absolute classic which was massivley hyped over. It’s a mid-toned nude which looks really nice on paler skin tones. It is just my perfect nude colour and I would highly recommend that you check out this colour if you’re looking for a new nude lipstick (it would also make a great gift – it’s a fail safe option).

On of the best pressed powders according to youtube is  Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Transparent,’ £3.99. Almost everyone says it’s the best powder they’ve ever used and they will reach for it over any of their highend powders – even Kim Kardashian apparently uses it in the shade ‘Sandstorm.’ It comes in six quite diverse shades including ‘Transparent’ which is probably the most popular. I love this powder, it is so much better than any powder I’ve ever used and keeps my makeup in place all day and shine free for about 4 hours at a time (and I have oily skin). I could not recommend this enough; it’s seriously amazing.

I used to see all the American youtubers talking about these and then when NYX came to the UK everyone was talking about them and I had no excuse not to try them. All NYX lip products are supposed to be great but the ones hyped over the most seemed to be NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, £5.50. I bought the shade ‘Abu Dhabi,’ a popular nude shade quite simmilar to ‘Velvet Teddy’ by MAC and I also bought the shade ‘Tokyo,’ which is a bright bubblegum pink. The formula of these is so long lasting and they feel so soft on the lips. I don’t find that they’re drying at all which is great for a matte liquid lipstick. They have such a vast shade range too and the packaging is nice too. I would recommend trying these as they are probably the best matte liquid lipsticks I’ve tried and they are so inexpensive.

What’s In My Topshop Bag?

I’ve recently been using a bag from Topshop which I’ve had for a couple of years now and I’ve been really enjoying using it. Earlier this week I found that I had a 2015 diary in it – shows how long I haven’t used it for! I thought I’d share with you what I have in it, which isn’t too much as it’s quite a little bag – it’s actually a nice break from carrying around a bigger handbag!

My Phone – When I’m out I obviously always have my phone with me, who doesn’t?

My Purse – My purse is from Joules and it’s really small, just a coin purse. Inside I have a couple of pounds, my bus pass, my student card, my boots advantage card and my superdrug beauty card.

Makeup Bag – I have a small Jack Wills Makeup Pouch containing a Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Oil Lip Balm, my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and my Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

Other things – Vaseline, NYX Butter Gloss in ‘Fourtune Cookie,’ a (very old!) cherry Chapstick and an Alpen Light Apple & Sultana Breakfast Bar.

The Ride Or Die Makeup Tag

I’m doing the ride or die makeup tag which was created by Jaclyn Hill. I loved watching her showing her all time favorite products and I’ve enjoyed everyone elses take on the tag too. I have added in a couple of categories and taken out a couple and I think all of you should do this tag too!

My favorite foundation would probably have to be Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in ‘Light Porcelain.’ It offers a light to medium buildable, natural coverage and the shade is great. It is also only £8.99 so it is really affordable.

I like different concealers for different things but if I could only have one it would be Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in ‘Fair.’ This is full coverage, can cover anything and the 4 shades they have are great. I can’t get over the fact it’s only £4.19.

Face powder
This was the easiest one, it would deffinetly be Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in ‘Transparent’ and it’s only £3.99. It comes in 6 shades and gives a matte finish. It keeps your makeup in place all day and I love it.

My favorite cotour product is my Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit in ‘Medium’ which has a matte contour shade and a matte highlight shade. They are pigmented, blend so easily and the result is so natural.

I think L’Oreal bronzers are amazing and I love L’Oreal Glam Bronzing Powder in ‘Caribbean Sun.’ The shade is perfect for me (I use the 3rd of 9) and it is matte but has shimmer through it so it looks so natural.

I don’t wear blusher that often but when I do, I always reach for Collection Blush in ‘Bashful’ which is only a couple of pounds. It looks so natural and pretty.

I haven’t tried a crazy amount of highlighters but I love MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter in ‘Pink Shimmer’ which is so pigmented and long lasting especially for the price of £3.

I have tried so many mascaras and I really like alot of them, but I always find myself going back to Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara ‘Intense Black’ which gives amazing volume and length.

Eyeshadow Palette
I do love eyeshadow palettes and I have quite a few but my go to palette is my Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette which contains the perfect shades for me. They are so long lasting and blend effortlessly.

I have a few highend liners but the Rimmel Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencil in ‘Jet Black’ is my favorite. It is pigmented, blendable and it doesn’t smudge easily.

Liquid eyeliner
I’m very specific when it comes to liquid liner and I love all L’Oreal ones. My favorite would be L’Oreal Super Liner Black Laquer Waterproof as it lasts and is easy to apply.

This was so hard but a great everyday lipstick for me is MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in ‘Creme Cup’ as the formula and colour are amazing!

Liquid lipstick
I’d have to go for NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘Abu Dhabi’ as it is so comfortable to wear yet it lasts all day. The colour is also the perfect nude.

Eventhough I only recently discoverd N07 BB Lips Beauty Balm in ‘Ballerina’ it has already become my favorite. I just love the creamy formula and they pretty colour.

Eye primer
Eyep primer makes all the difference when it comes to keeping your eyeshadow on all day and I love Urban Decay Anti Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion as it does just that.

Lip liner
I absolutley love Model Co Illusion Lip Liner which is one colour suits all and it makes your lips look slightly fuller yet natural.

I think my favorite would have to be a classic, Chanel No5 Eau De Toilette as it is perfect for any occassion.

I love doing my eyebrows and I’ve tried alot but my favorite product would be L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit in ‘Light/Medium’ as it’s a great colour for me and the powder and wax are amazing.
